Jamie Lee Curtis

JAMIE LEE CURTIS("Kit" Foster) first hit it big in 1978s Halloween as the teenager terrorized by the quintessential horror film villain, Michael Meyers. Twenty years later, Curtis came full circle with the recreation of that role in last fall’s hit film Halloween H20.

In between, Curtis’ career has been a full one, ranging from her days in horror films (Prom Night, Terror Train, The Fog and Halloween II) to award-winning actress in the comedies True Lies (Golden Globe comedy award), Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd (for which she received a British Film Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress) and A Fish Called Wanda.

Other significant credits include the films Fierce Creatures, House Arrest, Dominick And Eugene, Blue Steel, My Girl, Love Letters, Forever Young and Mother’s Boys. Noted television credits include the CBS movie Nicholas’ Gift, for which she received an Emmy nomination; The Heidi Chronicles on TNT, which garnered a Golden Globe nomination; and the sitcom Anything But Love with Richard Lewis, for which she earned both Golden Globe and People’s Choice Awards.

She is currently enjoying the extraordinary success of her third children’s book, Today I Feel Silly & Other Moods That Make My Day, which has been on The New York Times bestseller list for the past two months. Her first, When I was Little: A Four-Year-Old’s Memoir of Her Youth, was published in 1993 and her second, Tell Me Again About The Night I Was Born, was published in 1996.
