CHUCK PFARRER (Screenwriter/Executive Producer/Comic Book Series Creator), a former Navy SEAL, is the creator of the Dark Horse comic Virus. A veteran screenwriter, Pfarrer’s credits include writing, acting and stunt work in Navy SEAL’s, starring Charlie Sheen and Martin Biehn, Sam Raimi’s Darkman and John Woo’s Hard Target. Pfarrer’s previous Universal movie, The Jackal, opened last year. Starring Bruce Willis and Richard Gere, the film set three-day, non-holiday box office records for Universal Studios. A mission to Mars is Pfarrer’s next undertaking. Chuck is presently executive producing his spec screenplay Alone for Village Roadshow. Shooting in Australia later this year, the Village/Warner Bros. production is the story of a Navy astronaut marooned on the red planet.

Pfarrer’s forays into interactive media have produced two DVD titles for Yosemite-based Tsunami Media: Flash Traffic, a nuclear thriller set in LA; and the critically acclaimed Silent Steel, a Clancey-esque submarine drama.

When he’s not typing with two fingers, Chuck’s interests include sailing, ice climbing, snow boarding and surfing. Like everybody else, he wishes an alien computer virus would eat LA.
