TODD MOYER (Co-Producer) is a long-standing entertainment executive and film producer. Presently, Mr. Moyer is president of No Prisoners, a production company specializing in producing visual effects-based motion pictures. Mr. Moyer is the producer of No Prisoners first feature, Wing Commander, which will be released theatrically by 20th Century Fox in February, 1999. Wing Commander is based upon the best-ever selling CD-ROM series of the same name. Through creative deal-making, Mr. Moyer was able to mount this effects-laden film and staff all departments with top talent for about a third of the cost of what it would cost a major studio. Prior to starting No Prisoners, Mr. Moyer (35) was president of Steamroller Productions, Steven Seagals production company. Recently, Mr. Moyer oversaw production of The Glimmerman and Fire Down Below, a $55 million action movie for Warner Bros. Prior to joining Steven Seagal, Moyer served as executive vice president and producer for Dark Horse Entertainment (DHE) 11/91- l/96. In four years, Mr. Moyer transformed DHE into an extremely successful feature film production company specializing in comic book and pop-culture related material. Mr. Moyer oversaw development of the companys first three feature films: The Mask, Timecop and Barb Wire. With groundbreaking visual effects, The Mask and Timecop were extremely successful and helped launch DHE as a viable production entity. Mr. Moyer was co-producer of Largo/Universals 1994 release of Timecop and producer of Barb Wire for Polygram. In 1994, Mr. Moyer negotiated a three year term deal for DHE with Universal. Presently, DHE has 14 projects in development at Universal. In addition to developing and producing feature films, Mr. Moyer launched a number of joint ventures for DHE. These ventures include Dark Horse Interactive, Dark Horse Publishing France and Dark Horse Publishing Japan. Before joining Dark Horse Entertainment, Mr. Moyer was a literary agent at The Irv Schechter Company. He represented many directors and writers including Dark Horse Comics, John Turtletaub, Peter Jackson and Chuck Pfarrer. Mr. Moyer received a BA from Dartmouth College in 1986 and a certificate in film production from The American Film Institute in 1988. |
